Baxi 105 e ?

Can anyone tell me why the needle on pressure gauge risers when the central heating is put on ? I can only put heating on low to keep it at 2 on pressure gauge. Would be grateful if anyone has any ideas before calling an engineer ,

If the pressure is between 1 & 1.25 when the system is cold and the rises rapidly ( within 20 mins ) to 3 bar then there is a problem with the expansion vessel. If this is the case then you should get a registered engineer to address the problem

When this happened to my Worcester condensor boiler i was advised to let more water into the system, this worked for me

Water in the sealed system gets hot, expands, increasing the pressure in the system.

Check you have the correct pressure with the system cold.
