Wasing machine/dryer/replace dryer element?

How can I replace the dryer element? Are there two elements, one for the was cycle and one for the dryer and how can I tell which needs replacing as it is the dryer element that is not as hot as it should be??

The easy way is to start by telling us the make and model of the machine.

Better still YOU could do some searching. Try spares listings and see if thee are two element types. You may even find a parts diagram. The parts supplier Ransoms are often good like that.

It'd be easy enough to do a basic check on an element once its been disconnected, just with a battery and a bulb.
