Microwave zapped worth repairing?

My GE de68-00307a microwave zapped itself and quit while it was running, but the fuse did not blow. It looks like the replacement magnetron will cost about $70 if that's what is needed for repair. Is it worth the trouble/cost to replace this part and see if it starts working again or should I trash it? Please let me know.

You should throw it away in my opinion.

A new - Made in China - microwave can be had for peanuts.
I have a basic microwave maybe 18 years old - it cost me £23 or US$ 30 back then. Today Amazon USA have a microwave for $22.84 with free shipping!
