TV is a Samsung FPT6374X/XAA. After turning the TV on, pressing any button on the TV turns the TV off. Seriously....every key turns it off. Technically the remote is transmitting a signal but I can't tell if the remote is the issue or if it's the remote receiver. I've tried changing the batteries but the problem persists. Sometimes I can unplug the TV then plug it back in and it will work for a few minutes. Any idea how to fix this?

I ended up unplugging the TV and then pressed each button on the TV for 3 seconds. It seems to be working fine now.

Don't realy know but you should have had an answer by now if anyone could help,but in saying that try going into MENU on remote and see if you have selected a function that allows you to switch off by pressing any key (press any key to continue springs to mind)look for power settings/stand by settings that sort of thing,the answer might be there somewhere.You have nothing to loose just repost the questio again if you can't find anything in SETTINGS,good luck.
