polti steam cleaner has stopped working?

Hi
can anyone help me with polti steam cleaner. The cleaner heats up but when I try and use it no steam happens have checked the extension lead that you plug into the main boiler unit it seems ok. the model is VT evolution PTGb0042003785Bo06.
