How do I reset my Matsui TVR 180?

A repairer can get into the service menu but can't see a "reset" option (as yet).

Can anyone help?

Most televisions have a Service Menu. Does anyone know how to get into that menu on a Matsui TVR 180 and what option allows a reset to Factory default or similar?

The reset function on a piece of equipment is usually to recover from an unsafe condition - a domestic boiler that overheats for instance.

I have never owned a TV that had a reset function.

You do not say the specific problem that you're trying to fix.
