google results page changed?

The results from searches now show up in boxes?
and at the top before the 'http' is'secure' -in green print
how do i get back to the old look
FRUSTRATED, February 2017
The results that show up in boxes are subsidized results. Results for witch someone paid something to get there. Those are really ads related to your query, not actual search results. The purpose of those boxes is to clearly differentiate the ads from the actual search results. You don't want to make them go away.
The real search results are placed under them and NEVER show up in boxes.

The "secure" that you see is added by your browser as an added indicator that you are on a secure page. It's intended to make your browsing safer.
Green «secure» = Safe. All transmission are encrypted, security certificate is valid.
Black, without «secure» = ordinary, non encrypted. Never enter personal information and don't log in.
Red = DANGER !

This may well be a feature of your browser rather than with the search engine. Or perhaps the settings of your browser

Try another search engine - Google - Bing - Yahoo etc...
Try another browser - IE - Chrome - Firefox etc...
Reinstall the browser that's showing the problem
