How can I increase temp range on a DT20RF thermostat?

Thermostat only operates within the range 18-19 degrees meaning the max temp in the house is 19 degrees-too cold for my 85 years old mum. I can “trick” the thermostat by placing it somewhere cold. Can anyone suggest a solution.
