I have french upvc doors and when i shut them the bottom bolt that lifts up does not catch the guide to pull the door tightly shut, how can i adjust the hinges so that the doors are a little closer together at the bottom? There are 4 hinges on each side.

It depends on whther the hinges are pencil hinges ( straight) or flag hinges ( shaped like a flag) If pencil then u should be able to adjustusing the screws on the centre of the hinge! The door needs to be open to see the screw! turn it either clockwise or anti-clockwise u should see movement in the hinge! If flag hinges you will need allen keys! there should be a hole on the edge of the "flag" insert the required size of key ( usually 5mm) and turn up or down and you will see movement either way!!
