After getting semi-solid doors I attempted to put a coat hook
behind the bathroom. The screws and rawlplugs were the ones reccomended by the hardware store. They were PLASPLUG
HOLLOW DOOR fixings (regular duty).
The hook would not support ANYTHING the weight of a bathtowel which was the general idea in the first place.

Try using double side adhesive pads to stick the hook on the door.
they are quite strong and not destructive.
