buzzer sound on boiler?

I have recently had my ideal classic boiler serviced, since the engineer has left, the boiler makes a buzzing sound sometimes, like a very loud doorbell, the gas company my boiler is not covered for noises and want to charge me £70 call out, can anyone tell me, if this is a warning buzzer, or what it is??

Your gas company sounds very much like that dog British Gas Plc (Centrica Group)...

Just phone them up and say your boiler is not working... If they ask any questions; just respond with:

"It's a boiler, I'm an office worker - How the hell do I know what is wrong with it; that's what I pay you for... It's not working, your engineer broke it during the service - Send someone now."

Always works for my clients.

sounds like electrical relay getting stuck.( tell your gas company that it was your engineer that cocked it up in the first place.)
