How do i stop water leaking in from my upvc door?

Its a back door and the wind drives the rain against it. It leaks from the bottom and the tray at the bottom is filling up. I had drain holes drilled but this did not fix it as they are higher than where the water is leaking in.

Thank you Kevin it worked!

Drill a series of 3mm holes (8 ~ 10 of)to "join" the 2 routed slots in the threshold where the upstand of the threshold meets the trough where the water is gathering. The holes should only penetrate the 1st skin and not through to the outside so that the water drains into the drainage chamber inside the multi-cellular construction. A last resort is to retrofit a weather bar specifically designed for uPVC doors. Rehau suppliers in your area can supply these for about a tenner..
