Smeg DW1710E1 problem - all lights flashing?

My dishwasher has stopped working completely, all the lights are flashing and nothing I do seems to reset it. The manual describes other sequences of flashing lights but doesn't say what it means if they are all flashing. Any ideas?

I have a DW1710E Smeg Dishwasher and I found the reset button on mine. Whether this is the same as yours you will find out. Behind the plinth, your dishwasher has a steel panel. I removed this and exposed the wiring, the reset button is red and at the leftmost part of the machine, on the "ceiling" of the bottom on the machine (if that makes sense!). Remember to switch off first. Good Luck.
