I have just bought a transonic dvd player (TC1055DV) and want to connect to a transonic tv (GT 821A). tv only has scart plug input (plus antenna jack). I have bought a scart adapter with yellow, red, white RCA plugs and connected via a lead but can't tune the tv to receive the signal (just keeps scrolling through UHF, VHF without locking on to any signal) anyone know an easy solution?

I finally worked that out - have been trying to set up without the remote and couldn't change to AV.

you don't tune in if you use scart or rca leads .
just switch your tv to AV or EXT 1 2 or 3 or whatever your tv is
