It is possible to remove programs other ways, try ...
Click start, All Programs, and find the program you wish to delete, sometimes it has an uninstal file.
If not, goto My Computer, Double click C Drive, then Program files and Select the folder you wish to delete. Press delete on the keyboard or right click the folder name and pick delete - then say yes to the confirmation box.
Note that this method is not really recomended as it may impact other programs - depends what the program is.
