problem with potterton suprima 30 boiler?

i live in a 5 year old house.built by wimpy. i moved in 2years ago. since then my potterton suprima 30 boiler is continually going into lockout, have had unit serviced, but the central heating company has refused to accept me on a service contract because of the problem. have seen advert for reconditioned pcb. are these any good, if so, how much does it cost to get one fitted.

I have to agrre with wslazy on this one, attempting the repair on this one could be dangerous, ther are twi inherrent faults with this boiler, yes the pcb is a problem, however there have allso been faults with the ignition electrode. so dont go sprnding £165.00 at th drop of a hat only good advice get local reputable corgi engineer, or british gas in

do not get a rec pcb for god sake. a new pcb will not cost you much more. then you will get a manufacturers warenty for a year. pott wont addmit it but this problem has been rectified and a new pcb is the best way to go
