fix my cd-rom PB 9533 Intel pentium 533mhz?

my cd-rom drive will only play audio tracks. how can i make it play cd-roms?

To be honest if your CD-ROM drive is faulty they are very cheap to replace.

They are less than £20 from my local computer shop and very simple to fit
