how do I find the 4-digit parental code to unblock channels that require the 4-digit parental code for my 40'' lxi

My parents have an old 90's lxi tv that was locked out. we figured out how to get it unlocked, if you go to menu, then features, then parental control, then to reprogram access code, use code 0711 to reprogram it then for your new code, use an easy one like 0000. Hope this works for you, it did for us.
