Alpha Combi Boiler is SQUEELING!?

I have an Alpha CB 24/28 combi boiler (doesn't specify which model in the paperwork I have) which was fitted about 5 years ago. Heating and hot water work fine but it emits a high pitched squeeling noise a lot of the time. It seems to happen when I turn on the cold tap and then switch it off. Initially I was able to stop the noise by turning on the hot tap for a second. However the problem is getting worse and this doesn't help anymore. Any suggestions?!

sounds like your water pressure is on the high side or cold pipework isnt clipped sufficiently or maybe valve is worn somewhere (wc maybe) try turning your incoming stoptap down slightly see if this makes a difference if so that could be all it is, although a pressure reducing valve would be a better long term solution
