How can I unstick my digital camera?

Our digital camera came in contact with soda pop. Did not submerge, but enough to make the dial stick as well as the lens. I use alcohol swabs to loosen it and it works only temporarily. Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W5

Ypu should get it to a repair shop so they can open it, then and you can scrape it off or wtv. How did it fall in the pop?
