TV screen problem. Can someone please help?

I have a 32" TV, that is about three years old. When I turn it on there is a thin line in the middle of the screen. When I tap the side of the TV the full picture comes up. Any ideas on what this may be? I don't want a new TV, because the picture on the screen is excellent. Any help would be appreciated.

Assumimg a horizontal line.
It's the most common fault symptom you'll get with a TV.
Usually, just a dry soldered joint to the frame output ic.
Expect a quick, cheap and simple repair.
Don't be tempted to run it while there's a line displayed. The fault will get more severe if left, so better to get it fixed sooner than later.

btw, if anyone tells you it's a faulty tube,.. take it elsewhere.
