My scunci Steamer Model SS-1000 will not work..it builds up steam the trigger seems fine..but the steam will not come out. How do I get the steam to come out of the hoses?

That just happened to me...I put in half white vinegar and half water and it is fine, now.
Also, try using it with different electrical outlets...mine had tripped and so it didn't work in one room.

Ok, after the baking soda and vinegar, the steamer is buikding up steam and shooting it out. The only problem is, I'm not pressing the button.

When the water first started getting warm, it began coming out in liquid. Then in a few seconds it turned to steam.

So, it's not quite right, but I think I'm on to something!!!

Mine stopped working. It worked great when I first got it. Didn't use it for a long time. Now mine is the same as yours. I figured hard water build up inside was causing it and was just online looking for safe ways to clean it out. I was going to try baking soda and vinegar...
