Did this last night at 1230 when returned from holidays no drum action!
The motor is at bottom of machine i didnt have the correct screwdriver to remove anything so i turned machine upside down! removed two screws that hold motor in place ran off the pulley and took motor into the living room leaving a trail of carbon!! took out the two brushes and noted there number (39) and ordered new pair refitted and it worked again..... will use new pair only if it breaks again! the brushes were pretty worn about 2/3 missing.
