How can I take the lock of my Advent TV?

I was switching the av to watch a dvd on my tv, and a lock popped up on the screen and now even turning off the Tv and unplugging it does nothing. It is locked, and I dont know how to fix it.

When my toddler locked our Advent TV, all I did was hold down the Display button for about 2 minutes non-stop. It automatically unlocked.
