When i start my tape it is black and white and moving up and down then goes blue.. It plays only the sound and its a blue screen.. how can I fix this?

That is usually a feature of the TV rather than the VCR. If there is no or low input signal (ie. dirty heads), the TV displays a Blue screen instead of presenting just snow/noise.

If you turn the blue screen feature off (usually found somewhere within the TV's menu), then you will get a better view of the quality of the videos output.
