how can i fix uPVC window to stop draught?

when i close my bedroom window i hear a click from the hinge side, this is the side i get a draught through, where it doesnt quite meet the seal. The seal looks intact and of good quality - could it be something to do with the allignment of the hinges? Any suggestions appreciated

At the back of the hinge is the hood ,Try spraying it with wd 40 ,It helps the hinge locate if this doesn't work its new hinge

Sealant will work, though you may have to apply a second bead after the first has cured to get the required depth.
And I appreciate you taking the time to say thanks, as most people don't bother.

Thanks Big Softy!
the gap is about quarter of an inch.... will sealant still work do you reckon?

It's hard to say without actually seeing, but a bead of silicon sealant along the gap should solve the draught.
Open the window, then run the silicon along the problem area.
Wait for the silicon to dry before closing.
