my polti 1500 vaporetto is heating up fine but it won't dispense any steam how can i fix this problem

If the water is heating and the on/off switch stays illuminated have you checked the safety switch (2a) on the steam gun ? If this is in the off position the steam jet is locked. If there is no steam because the water has not heated sufficiently this is a different problem
