i have a sylvania vcr model #kv5699 how do i recrd from tv.i put the vcr on the channel i wanted to record then i pressed tv to watch the same show nothing recorded

You can record from TV if 1. you have tuned your video into one of your TV Channels - plug necessary leads from video recorder to TV and connect your aerial to aerial socket on Video Recorder, obviously an external aerial is best. You need to tune your video into a TV channel for playback of videos, and then tune in the stations on your video which means that the tuned in channels can then be recorded and if you have Freeview can be recorded via the AV1 AV2 inputs on your video.
