how to fix my desktop background problem?

cause i cant change my background on my desktop.

I assume you're running a windows PC?
If so right click anywhere on your desktop, then click 'properties' on the menu that pops up.
Then click on 'desktop' on the tabs at the top, click on 'browse' on the page that pops up, and choose your background from wherever you have the picture you want to use stored.

You didn't give us your OS -- WinXP is assumed.
Right-click any open space on the Desktop. Then, click Properties. At that point, you should be able to change the background image. If you are logged in to the PC via a "limited" account, you may not be able to change the background image. Make sure you're a Power User or Administrator by using the User Accounts icon in the Control Panel.
