I have a 10-month-old Sony Cybershot DSC-W50 that has a "broken" LCD screen. Sent it to Sony for warranty repair, but they will not fix because they say there was "impact damage." Camera has been excellently cared for and was not dropped or impacted in any way. Has been kept in a case. So, now I'm out $250 for a camera. I can't see paying to repair it, cause Sony repair shopt wants $193.00 to repair it. Hate to buy a new camera. Any help in repairing this inexpensively would be great!!!!

I ordered my own LCD and replaced it. The same thing happened to me. I cared for the camera, no drops or bumps but the LCD cracked and sent it back to sony and was told the same thing.
