We bought it the other day, brought it home, plugged it in last night, worked just fine! Then today we went to turn it on, the green POWER light turned on, but no screen? We couldn't see what channel it was on, nothing... so my dad told me to unplug it for a while, see what happened... So we unplugged it for a few minutes, plugged it back in, nothing...? When powering on there is a small ticking noise, like trying to power on, but NoThInG!! So, we left it unplugged all day long, when we got back home plugged it in, worked... Like it may have had to "reset itself?" We turned it back off and went to turn it off, same problem again... Now we've had it unplugged for 10 minutes, still not working, 30 minutes, still not working... And finally an hour, STILL not working, will try again in the morning after leaving it unplugged all night... :(

I have the exact same problem with mine. I have found other web sites that indicate this is not an uncommon problem. One answer that I saw was:
powerseach is gone.. $394.00 plus taxes to fix

I don't know if this is true, but I love to get mine working again. Any help is appreciated.
