MP3 Player says 'CANNOT PLAY'?

I have a Sony MP3 player and on certain tracks I put on it, It says CANNOT PLAY, yet they are in MP3 format, so I dont understand why they wont play?! Any ideas as to why?! Thanx

the mp3 files might be copyright protected try getting rid of them and putting them back on there again.
