baxi bermuda 401 back boiler will not stay on?

I have a lovely old boiler that was serviced 2 months ago and suddenly now when the timer comes on the boiler fires up but then turns it self off after a couple of minutes and won't stay on. So not heating or hot water. Any ideas would be appreciated.
