leaking from overflow pipe?

i have a worchester 24cdi,i have had a new pump fitted 2 weeks ago,and it has started to leak water from the overflow pipe into the garden,and also the pressure bar has gone to number 3,apart from that the heating works fine please can you help

release the pressure from a radiator bleed valve as you would when bleeding them.
i think you have a problem with your boiler.
shut your mains water stopcock, then release the pressure back down to 1.5 bar, then run your heating for a few mins then turn it off and check if pressure is still at 1.5 bar.
if it is then turn your mains stopcock back on and see if your pressure gos back up.

pressure does not go down it stays at 3 on the gauge when heating is switched off how do i release the pressure?

does the pressure gauge go back down when heating turned off ?
the leaking water is just the prv releasing water as this valve activates at 3 bar or above.
