How can I fix my MGA television reciever model CS-1946R?

My MGA television nodel # CS-1946R is stuck on channel two. I can not change the channel and every time I try the top of the tv says EXT. I have unplugged and replugged the cable cord so thats not the problem.

I bought a generic remote from wal mart and hit the input button it changed it from ext to ca and I was able to change channels just can not get above channel 65, still trying to figure that out.
