how do i remove the inner drum from the outer drum HotpointWash/Mach WMA62P?

i I am trying to remove the inner drum from the outer drum on my Hotpoint washing machine WMA62P in order to replace the bearings. I have already stripped the whole machine down and i am left with the outer bearings showing and half the outer drum still attached to the inner drum but i cant seem to undo the nut which i believe bolts to the spider/spindle. is there a simple solution ? is the nut left hand or right hand thread?

right hand thread however if theyve used locktight it will be stiff do yourself a favour and ehen you get the inner drim out check the shaft for signs of damage cos if it isn't perfect you wont get a good seal and you will be in the same boat in 3 months time with no grease in your race and a noisy machine
