my player has been working fine until 3 days ago when i turned it on and an hour glass turned up and now wont do anything, wont connect to PC or charge, nothing. The mini cd that came with it is absolutely no help, as it says that everything on the cd is damaged. I am at my witts end please help. I have been told to reset it but the button does not help.

Honestly, this may sound like bs answer but you have to HEAT it. That means being placed on a heater, or radiator, or even a hot oven. Now, you don't want to melt the thing or set it on fire, but you have to come really close! You have to superheat them for a few minutes for sure, they can actually withstand a surprising amount of heat. This solution worked for myself and many others, and after searching the internet, it seems to be the best solution for this particular problem!
