(Model No: DAP-HD0014) Headphone plug end makes poor connection in jack. Player looses volume with even the slightest movement. Applying pressure to it improves the volume and clarity, but that is not practical for normal use. I have tried new headphones and other known working headphones, but the problem persists. Player is 17 months old and out of warranty.

You could try to fix the headphone jack yourself, or goto www.zenrepair.com and send it for repair.
