I have been bought the above for my birthday from a friend, however I cannot find the instructions so cannot work the machine does anyone have a manual or can you download details of one - THIS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Try going to the manufacturer's website. Navigate to the service/download page, if they have one. Most companies now have provisions for help with missing manuals.
