With a full load of washing the drum does not rotate fully. I think the drive belt has stretched. Do I need to replace the belt or is there a tensioner that I can adjust the tension with?
my zanussi washing maching is rinsing or spining loads up water at start wash ok the no rinse or spin

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I have since been told by a Zanussi expert that he would be 99.9% sure that its a defective 12.5microfarad capacitor. It sits at the top of the machine and is easy to replace so I am going for that option first. The brushes will be next.

The belt on this machine is an elasticated type and can not be adjusted ,just replace the belt if the belt has streched. Also check the motor brushes these could be worn down preventing drum rotation under heavy loads.
