glowworm boiler not firing up?

I have a glowworm boiler and went to turn it on the other day to find it wouldnt light. Pilot light has gone out and it wont relight. heating was working fine before. When heating is turned on the fan starts on boiler, ignition fires up and continues. No gas is being released. Thought that there might be an airlock in system, but have bled all the system completely.
Very stange how this has happened, could do with some help please. Thanks

The Glow Worm Micron burner temperature control knob has two functions. One is to turn right to left or vis versa to increase or decrease the burn temperature and thus the heat of the water in the radiators. The second is function is an in and out movement which, I think, is some sort interlock which cuts off the gas when activated, for whatever reason. Once activated the burner goes through the motions of firing but does not actually fire up and you will notice that the sound the burner makes is different to that which it makes when firing correctly. The "in out" movement is very tiny, you can barely see it or feel it. Push the knob back in or give it a light tap and see if the burner fires
