How do i wire speakers in parallel

peck, January 2009
if you wire the 8ohm speakers in parallel the impedance will be 4 ohms and if you wire them in series they will be 16 ohms

Series will give 16 ohms, parallel will give 4 ohms.
Most hi-fi amps will cope with 4 ohm loads - see the rear panel, so best to try that.
