There are another couple of fuses inside the machine, 'in-line' fuses in black plastic holders. You would need to check them first. The main problem with this machine is the access. The screws are a special 'security' type and you will need to find them which is not easy but may be worth it as this machine is now around £400 to buy and is more powerful than most of the other 'domestics'. You will need to have 'TX-STAR' type T10 and T20. They are not the normal 'Torx' type as the screwheads have centre pins and so the drivers have centre holes. The 'bits' that you get in screwdriver kits are no good as you need to get the shaft of the screwdriver down the hole. A kit is available from Draper Tx-Star Tamperproof Driver Set, No. 53515, Type TXT953/11. (APPROX £15-20).
Once inside, check the connector block at the back and the in-line fuses. It may mean you element has gone and taken the fuse with it....
