What DVD's are you using?
What software are you creating them with? Or are they created with a standalone DVD recorder?

Generally the best discs to use for overall compability have the Ritek G4 or G5 dye, or the Mistsubishi dye. These have a very deep purple coloration.

If you are using software on a PC, or that is an option, I would suggest trying DVDshrink and in the options, select DVD rom booktype. This will give the disc even more compatability.

One last thing I can think of is to make sure the discs you are creating are almost completely full (at least 4gb of movie). As some players will not play discs that are not almost full.

Just some things for you to try.
