I read the same question from last year and it was not answered. Is this a problem with the fan, or infrared rays, etc. Did anyone get a definitive answer on the problem with this unit? My unit shuts down intermittently. Sometimes it works fine all day, while other days it shuts down in seconds. Resetting the power strip seemed to help but I think only because it delayed the startup somewhat. Thanks....

Looks like this is an old post but I took mine to get fixed and the guy said it was a bad power supply and that he cant fix it because you arent able to get the part. He did say to check out ebay for the power board and I could try to replace myself.
