Thanks for the reply.......Te fire sign lit and then go off by itself,,,,its happenening with both systems with hot water and heating also........I have noticed one thing recently that suddenly the water pressure goes high and it switches off the gas. and after few seconds it starts again........

sounds like the flame detect electrode or the lead to it.
