I helped someone to get some songs onto this player, he has had a flat battery in it. After I had the battery replaced it showed on the computer that the disk is not formatted and on the player itself shows "disk error". I'm new to these kinda things, he is visiting and do not have any software for this.

I refer to my quetion regarding the MP3 Player, I figured in the meantime that this kind of player does not need software. I had it formatted and it resolved all the problems. All the music was lost though.
