1. Wash wet clothes promptly, long delays prompt mold growth
2. Clean foreign materials from pin trap and pump.
3. Drain hose must be 36inches or less at maximum height. Lower gives better draining. Watch it drain into a 5 gallon bucket, you should see a solid stream of water out the drain hose until it runs dry. If not, the pump has a problem, is jammed or clogged.
4. Dry washed clothes promptly.
5. Run a wash at 70 deg C/175 deg F, no clothes, with a quart of white vinegar to clean the machine.
6. Is the washer spinning properly?
7. Are you using a good soap? enough soap?
8. Try adding an oxygen bleach (Oxi-Clean (r) ) NO Chlorine bleach!
9. Is the spin working correctly? Try a spin at maximum RPM, the clothes should contain very little water after this. Of course, if the water isn't properly draining, the clothes will be quite wet :-)
