location of hot water cylinder?

Can a hot water cylinder be sited on a ground floor, but still supplies hot water to an upper floor bathroom.Using an immersion heater so no pump.

yes -- so long as the header tank supplying the water to the cylinder is higher than the taps. Easy - of course the higher the tap the less pressure it will have --pressure at the tap is related to the vertical distance from tap outlet to the header tank not the cylinder.

yes providing your cold water tank in loft stays in loft. it must be at the highest point as your hot water is gravity fed.

if you have a fortic tank (which is cylinder with the header tank built on top. then no gravity won't feed uphill.
