almost all mp3 players will have a tiny hole with the reset button inside. It requires something pretty small, a needle or similar to access it. Press and hold for a couple of secs. If you have installed the software driver for windows for this player windows will find it when you plug in the connector (as i assume this is a usb connector). You must install the software and / or drivers first. Often an mp3 player uses its own software not WMP 11 etc..
